Medical Staff

  • Psychiatrist

    • Trinity’s psychiatrists are licensed board-certified medical doctors who evaluate patients to determine whether their symptoms are the result of a physical illness, a combination of physical and mental, or a strictly psychiatric one. A contract is maintained with our psychiatric staff to grant consultation and/or services and is responsible for the clients’ Medication Management.
  • Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners

    • Do many of the same things a psychiatrist does, including diagnosing mental illness and prescribing medication. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners also act as a therapist, helping patients with depression, anxiety, suicidal individuals, and other conditions that can be remedied with counseling.

Clinical Staff

  • Licensed Mental Health Practitioners (LMHP)

    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

      • Trinity’s LCSWs have a master’s degree in social work from an accredited school of social work with two years post-masters level supervision and experience in behavioral health services.
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

      • Trinity’s LPCs’ have a master’s degree in a mental health field. Each LPC has two years of supervision and two years post-master’s experience in behavioral health services.
  • Mental Health Professional (MHP)

    • MHPs offer a wide variety of skill-building and supportive counseling services. MHP’s are employees that have earned a master’s degree in a mental health-related field, but have not completed the required supervised years of experience to obtain their license.
  • Mental Health Specialist (MHS)

    • Employees who have completed a bachelor’s level degree in a mental health-related field, may be a student in a graduate mental health program, and/or a person with at least four years’ experience in a mental health-related field. Acceptable experience would include providing direct services in a mental health, physical health, social services, education, or correctional setting.
